Common questions

Things people ask before their first order

Do I need to be at the pickup location?
No. You just need to make sure someone at the pickup location knows the driver or team member is coming, or that the item is accessible. Use the driver note to leave gate codes, a contact name, or any other instructions.
How is the price calculated for marketplace jobs?
Price is calculated from three factors: vehicle type, distance in miles, and number of stops. The right vehicle is determined automatically based on what you describe — you just tell us what you're sending. You see the exact price before you confirm — it doesn't change after that. Your card is authorized at dispatch and only charged on successful delivery.
Can my recipient track without an account?
Yes. A public tracking link is generated for every job. Share it with anyone — no account or app download needed. They can follow the run live and see the delivery photo when it's done.
Can I cancel an order after placing it?
Yes, as long as the job hasn't been accepted yet. Cancel from the job detail screen and your card authorization is released automatically — no charge is made.
Does my team member need to pay anything?
No. The app for whoever you're sending is completely free. Only the manager account (yours) has a monthly subscription starting at $3.99/month.
Is dispatch management available outside Chattanooga?
Yes. Dispatch management — sending your own people — is available anywhere in the US. The RoadGofer Marketplace, where we assign you a driver, is currently available in Chattanooga and Bradley County, TN only.
